contaminated water

Would YOU drink this?

One in eight people around the world still have to!

That's 884 million people without access to clean water. A further 2.6 million people lack safe sanitation.  The end result is 1.7 million deaths each year from poor water, sanitation and hygiene, with a child dying every 20 seconds.

This has to stop!

CAFOD's Thirst for Change Campaign

CAFOD's thirst for change campaignCAFOD is urging us all to show our support for change by putting pressure on the G8 countries to make tackling water poverty one of their top priorities.

Our own Prime Minister, David Cameron, assumes the G8 presidency next year. In doing so, so he has the unique opportunity to lead from the front in calling on the world leaders to take concrete action to make water poverty a thing of the past.

Make your feelings known to the prime minister.  Follow the link below to register your support for the Thirst for Change Campaign.
