All of our physiotherapists are members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and are registered with the Health Professions Council (HPC) so you can be sure we’re safe and regulated. All Physiotherapists will have as a minimum a recognised Physiotherapy university degree and are required to undertake regular post-graduate training to maintain their registration with the HPC. All of our physiotherapists have a great deal of experience and will have been qualified a minimum of 5 years. Many have gone on to (or are working towards) post-graduate certificates, Masters level degrees or doctorates. Visit our team page to find out more about our specialists.
Do I need a doctor's referral?
f you are intending to fund your own treatment, it is not usually necessary to you to have seen your GP prior to coming for physiotherapy treatment. We may however ask you to see your GP if we believe that you need further tests or other specialist services. Please be aware that some medical insurance companies (such as Westfield) will expect you to have seen your GP before coming to us. If in doubt, please check with your health insurance provider.

Are you approved by Westfield?
Yes, our clinic is approved by Westfield as well as by BUPA, AXA PPP Healthcare, Simply Health (HSA), Standard Life, AVIVA, PruHealth, WPA, SAGA and all other leading health insurers. If you cannot see your health insurer in this list, give us a call.
Will physiotherapy help?
This can only be answered after a detailed assessment by the physiotherapist. In the majority of cases we can make a difference, but we will always be open and honest about what we can do for you. If we do not think we can help, we will tell you and if necessary refer you to your GP or an alternative health care professional.
I have had treatment before and it has not worked. Why are you different?
As Physiotherapists we have received extensive medical training backed up by scientific research which underpins the profession. We have a detailed knowledge of anatomy and physiology, well developed diagnostic skills, backed up by clinical experience and evidence-based treatment plans.
When conditions become longstanding and chronic or problems keep coming back, it is important to understand why. Our approach looks beyond the obvious symptoms, which of course we try to help with, but also to understand why you continue to suffer pain and stiffness. By assessing how you move and how you load your joints, we can identify the underlying causes of your problems and thereby provide more effective treatment.
How can I pay?
You can pay by cash, debit card or credit card (sorry but American Express will incur a small fee). If you have health insurance or have been referred through a medico-legal company or solicitors practice, we can in most cases invoice the company directly.
Can I easily change my appointment if I need to?
Yes, of course you can. All we ask is that you give us a minimum of 24 hours notice of any change to your appointment time, otherwise you may incur a cancellation fee. We do not charge a fee if you are sick or you have a family emergency, so long as you tell us as soon as is reasonably possible (if phoning outside of normal working hours then please leave a message and a member of staff will pick this up as soon as the clinic re-opens).
Can I park at the clinic?
Yes, we have private off-road parking at the front of the clinic.
When is your clinic open?
The clinic is open Monday to Saturday. We offer early morning and late evening appointments (from 8:00 am to as late as 9:00 pm). Please contact our reception for available times.
